How to unlock President Knabe

Open the main menu, click the key icon at the bottom left, paste the Knabe code, and confirm. The same path is where the toucan cosmetic goes. The code itself is in the codes table.

Where the field is

JingShing's character guide, Suguru's achievement guide, and the Steam thread titled Secret codes all describe the same click: bottom-left key icon, paste, confirm. There is no website redeem form and no key generator. If a page sends you to a third-party key shop, that page is answering a different search, the one about buying the game. Buying Roadtrip is the price page. This character is a menu string.

I am not repeating the string in this paragraph because the codes page is the single table, with a copy button, and it records how many sources each row has. Knabe is the three-source row. The toucan code nozombiebirds is a different row from the 0.21 announcement, and it only adds a bird at camp. A third official string in that same announcement unlocks Bananaperson inside Star Birds, which is another game. Pasting the Star Birds string here will not produce Knabe.

Knabe Kola is a magnet, then a blast

The character item is Knabe Kola. The wiki timing is every 5 seconds and also on a manual trigger. The can pulls nearby enemies for 3 seconds, then explodes for 98 damage, plus 2 damage per character level, with a 0.2 second cooldown. That is crowd control, closer to Bananaperson's bouncing banana and Penny's balloon than to Death's scythe or the Astronaut's suit. The starting weapon is a pistol, shared with three other characters, so the can is the build.

German players meet the character as Mr. Präsi Sir. The German search is mostly the code itself, which is why the German codes page repeats the menu path. I am not listing streamer spellings that only appear on an anonymous code blog. Those strings may be typos of the Steam guide code. Until a second independent page shows them doing something else, they stay out of the table.
