The Roadtrip demo

The Steam demo went up on 27 May 2025 and was gone by 2 Nov 2026. The store search no longer lists it, and there is no Download Demo button on the Roadtrip page.

What is gone

The news post titled DEMO OUT NOW is dated 27 May 2025. Players in the save-transfer thread refer to app 3102400 when they point at the demo's save folder. On 2 Nov 2026 a store lookup for that number returned no product, and a search for the name returned the full game (3026450), the 2019 game (740080), and the supporter packs, not a demo. I am not predicting a return. The sentence I will use is: as of 2 Nov 2026 it is not listed.

Saves, if you still have them

The developer had said demo progress would move over. The thread shows both outcomes: some people kept everything, some lost the banana character or their apples. The manual route posted for Linux and Steam Deck is to copy the DDSurvivors Saved folder out of the 3102400 compatdata prefix and into the 3026450 prefix, then rename SaveSlot_0.sav to SaveSlot_DDR_0.sav. That is one thread's method. I am not rewriting it as an official tool.

A free demo on the 2019 PlayStation store is a different game. Do not expect that download to contain Roadtrip's backpack or the 13 characters. If you want the 1.0 release, the price page lists the current store links.

Can I still download the Roadtrip demo?

Not from the Steam store on 2 Nov 2026. The product number players used, 3102400, has no store page.

Will my demo save load in 1.0?

The developer promised a transfer. Players report both full transfers and missing unlocks. A manual folder copy is described in the Steam thread.
