DEADLY DAYS 1.0 OUT NOW

Effect relay

WiFi repeater

The repeater is a relay, not a damage item. Aim your buff blocks at the repeater, aim the repeater at the weapon, and the weapon receives the buffs. At red rarity the reach grows from 1 cell to 3.

It forwards; it does not invent

The community wiki types it as a powerup with a 2 by 1 footprint. The German effect line says it transfers every effect applied to itself onto the marked item, and the marked item has to be able to receive that effect. Loot, the shop, and scavenging can all produce one. It is not a workbench recipe.

A Reddit post puts the same idea in plain language: the repeater points at the item you want to boost, and your other items may point at the repeater instead of crowding the weapon. A second post in a different thread treats overlapping chests as a reason the relay matters, because the backpack is already full. I read those as the same mechanism, not as two gadgets.

Range is the upgrade

The wiki shows epic and super art. Players call the super tier red and say the reach goes from one cell to three. That is the only numeric upgrade I will print. There is no official damage, fire rate, or cooldown, so those cells stay empty. If a build guide claims the repeater adds a percent, that percent is not in these sources.

This is why four-minigun screenshots keep a repeater in the corner. The fork adds a projectile to a marked gun. The repeater lets several forks and magazines mark one relay instead of each touching the gun. The robot arm solves a different limit, the hand count, and should not be confused with this relay. Hands and cells are separate budgets.

Questions

Does the WiFi repeater increase damage on its own?

No source gives it a damage stat. It forwards effects that other items apply to it.

Where do I find one?

Loot drops, the shop, or scavenging. It is not crafted at the workbench.
